Christmas Journal

Create a Christmas journal by covering a notebook with batting and Christmas fabric. Decorate with a ribbon and a bow. Use special Holiday printer stationery or create your own. Each year includes the following.

Make a tradition of viewing all family photos and videos during the Holiday season. It’s fun seeing how everyone has changed and stirs warm memories.

Photo album

Cover a photo album with batting and Christmas fabric. Decorate with ribbon and bows. Leave it out on the table for everyone to view. Photos you may want to include:

  • Family picture
  • Decorating Christmas tree
  • Cookie baking
  • Gingerbread house making
  • Gift opening
  • Picture of the gifts
  • Kids with Santa
  • Family traditions e.g., Christmas eve pajamas or kids enacting nativity

Holiday Recipe Book

Purchase a small photo album that holds 4″ x 6″ photos. Decorate the cover. Fuse a small square of holiday print to the top corner of each 4″ x 6″ recipe card or rubber stamp a Holiday design and color it with colored pencils. Store your special Holiday recipes in the album-e.g. Sweet Potato casserole, Christmas Ham, candies, and cookies.
